Bisland-Lambdin family papers, 1838-1894.

Papers consist of six personal letters addressed to Samuel H. Lambdin, Jane M. Bisland and Mary P. Lambdin, and a legal document concerning a monetary judgment awarded to Mary Witherspoon Bisland, widow of William Bisland (Oct. 16, 1868). Letters discuss the personal activities, health and deaths of friends and family members. In a letter from Brooklyn, N. Y., Louisa Witherspoon Lambdin comments on Christmas Day activities and gifts (Dec. 26, 1868).
